During the editing process, I had created a check list for what I had to incorporate in my film. For instance, producer, editor and other important contributors to any film opening. What I most importantly payed attention to was sound. In previous blog posts of past weeks, I have posted about the type of sound I want to include and the music. I choose a up-beat instrumental hip hop song for my opening.I felt as if it would help with the development of the opening.
Additionally, editing sound wasn't incredibly difficult. However, I did have to be careful when choosing how high I wanted the music to play. For example, a scene with dialogue I tried to balance the diegetic audio with the background music so they would not overpower each other. For scene without dialogue, I had the music at a higher level, since there wasn't any character speaking. This constant back and forth process took about 30 minutes in total. What I have left to do is just finalize the sound and make sure theres equivalent balance between the two sounds using Imovie.
