Production Post- obstacles February 25th, 2025

For this week's blogging, one of the tasks we were asked to complete is to create 3 production posts of our choice. I have decided to create this post about some obstacles that I face during my planning process of my portfolio project. I feel as if it is important to incorporate some obstacles to create a sense of realism when creating a film. 

So, one of the obstacles I have faced is the location of my film opening. In my script, one of the locations I was supposed to film at which is the *home garage* I am not able to film there because of the extensive time it would take my actors to change locations, I had previously planned to shoot on separate days to give myself more time but an unexpected change occurred. How do I plan to fix that issue you may ask? Well first I want to shoot everything on the same day, so I have the footage and get to editing as soon as possible. I will also have to alter the script to best suit my actors. 

The last problem I faced was the time period of my actors did not align with my schedule. So I had to step in as one of the characters, (NOAH is now NORA). To be more specific, the actors I have chosen to be in my film opening was not able to film until this week, which is inconvenient considering to due date I must meet, how I plan to fix this I shoot everything during this upcoming week while still fulfilling my blogging requirements.

When finding out I was not able to film until this week, I became worried, but taking a moment to think about what should my next approach will be, definitely helps.
